Menuiserie Coene: proud member of the Decalu family since 2020

Menuiserie Coene, a family carpentry business located in Marienbourg, Wallonia, has grown into an extraordinary success story. What began half a century ago as a small-scale one-man business run by pater familias Adelin, is now a reputable manufacturer of profiles in aluminum and wood-aluminum with sixty employees on the payroll.

As the business grew, so did the family ties within the company: Alain and André, sons of founder Adelin, joined the company in the 1980s and helped build it up. Coene's activities and products became more diverse, with interior doors, garage doors, profiles and shutters also in the portfolio. In 2020, the family business, with Alain's children Maxime and Élodie on board, decided to produce aluminum profiles. Its assets were winning over more and more customers: competitive prices, great production advantages and easy installation.

At the time, Decalu was looking for more partners in the south of Belgium and soon the two parties found each other. After seeing a presentation of Decalu products, the Coene family was immediately convinced by the durability, high quality and strong performance. Today, the collaboration is a great success with six full-time employees working on the production of Decalu profiles.
